My name is Dan Lawton and I am the founder of the start up ebiz industries, Inc. My vision has been to tap into the global used industrial asset markets and make them efficient. The total size of the market is enormous and includes equipment like telecom, medical, aviation, and heavy construction.
The interesting issue that we faced was that there is no web process for e-commerce solutions. The current solutions are consumer processes that industrial vendors must squeeze into that just do not fit their buyers needs. These processes include store fronts, auctions (eBay) and parts locator's.
The web is only at 2.0 and the hype and dollars are focused on consumer and social sites. However, a perspective must be kept that there is a big world of commerce outside consumer content and paid advertising.
ebiz industries process will bring a new process and business model to the web 2.0.
